We have built a new water chamber for a volume of 3,000 m³ of drinking water for the ‘Pfälzische Mittelrheingruppe’ water supply association at the Mutterstadt site. The 72 metre long, 14 metre wide and 8 metre high structure is an extension to the existing waterworks. The existing structure was also built by HEBERGER back in the 1970s.
The walls and ceiling were constructed using water-draining formwork sheets in order to achieve a concrete surface that was as non-porous and closed as possible and to fulfil the high requirements of the DVGW guidelines for drinking water.
